I love the old metal drawer as a flower holder. Now I don't know much about the cabinet that it came from but it's probably from the 1920's. I'm not sure if you can see it but I love that shoe form used for a card holder. What a funny idea. Join vintage thingie thursday http://www.coloradolady.blogspot.com/

Just found your blog and I love all your paper art! I'm your newest follower and I can't wait to see what you make next. Adore that little house wreath and the Starbucks wreath too. You are a clever one!
Both of these are great ideas. I would never thought of using a drawer for flowers, but it certainly works very well.
Fun vignettes~ I love the re-use of vintage items!
Beautiful post. Love you vignettes.
Happy VTT!
Love both images... The drawer as a flower pot is a great idea. Thanks for sharing!
I love your photos. Dried hydrangeas make anything look nice.
Beautiful photos! Love the flowers in the old filing cabinet drawer!
Great treasures you have. My dad loved to use unusual objects as planters, also. You have a great blog header.
Lovely finds! I want to go thrifting but my credit card says "No!". Hehehe! :)
I'm hosting a package exchange over at my blog. Please feel free to come and join us! It's going to be fun! :)

I'll have to try that drawer idea-really looks good. The table is something I would use too.
