DIY Lazy Suzan update
I found a great lazy suzan at a flea market and couldn't resist buying it. I've never seen one in this shape. Normally they are always round but this one was really different. I just purchased some red wood at Lowe's and stained them with different colors. Honestly, I used coffee to get the brown color. I think it turned out great.

Secrets of a Antique Dealer
Hello Friend,
For years I was a antique dealer. I rented space at three different Antique malls and sold anything I could redo or up-cycle. I've done so many different painting techniques. From Shabby, distressed to chalk paint.
Tips for a successful shop are simple.
1. Pack your shop. People like to buy from a shop that is full and packed. You need to make sure you triple or more your rent. To make your shop successful.
2. Rearrange your shop every week this mandatory. People don't always see the new items you bring in each week.
3. Always have a variety of items. Some painted or distressed but some natural actual antiques which are items over 100 years old. Also items that are $20 and under. For that impulse buy.
4. Social media is always a plus. Unfortunately instagram wasn't around when I had my shops.
